Elizabeth (Betty) Antida, 67, of San Jose, Calif., died Aug. 7 at Kaiser Hospital, Santa Clara, Calif. She was born in Hilo. No local services. No flowers. Condolences to Warren Antida, 276 S. 20th St., San Jose, CA 95116. Survived by mother, Margarita Camero; son, Warren Antida; stepson, Brian Antida; daughter, Chrystie Mariano; brothers, Jaime, Rudy, Franklin and John Camero; sister, Judy Shimabukuro; five grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Marian Leslie Evans, 52, of Keaau died Aug. 8 at Hilo Medical Center. Born on Maui, she owned and operated Akamai Answering Service. Celebration of life noon-10 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 23) at Leleiwi Beach Park in Keaukaha. Survived by mother, Elaine Eckhart of Auburn, Wash.; son, Christopher Craig of Mountain View; sisters, Cynthia Evans of Honolulu and Grace Evans of Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews. Blossom Kolu Kelii, 71, of Hilo died July 12 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a former loan officer for Hawaii National Bank, owner of Waimea Washerette, former real estate agent and member of Haili Congregational Church in Hilo, Imiola Congregational Church in Waimea and Hawaiian Women’s Golf Club. Services held. Survived by sons, Kyle “Bully” (Iwa) Kelii and Garner (Claire) Kelii of Hilo; daughters, Terri (Roger) Meeker of Kapoho and Cherisse (Nick) Agorastos of Hilo; sisters, Emmeline Foster and Lydia Haena of Hilo; brothers-in-law, Sam Kakelaka of Kaneohe, Oahu, Ronald (Wilma) Kelii, Wendell (Berna) Kelii and Kelvin (Evelyn) Kelii of Hilo; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tatsumi Oue, 92, of Kealakekua died July 18 at home. Born in Kealakekua, he was a retired farm manager for K. Oue Ltd. and member of Kanaueue Kumiai and Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple. Services held. Survived by brother, Francis (Claire) Oue of Keauhou; sister, Patricia Oue of Kealakekua; sister-in-law, Lynda Oue of Kailua, Oahu; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Tsuneko “Sue” Takemura, 91, of Hilo died July 30 at a care home in Hilo. Born in Hilo, she was retired from the former Hawaiian Equipment Co. and a member of Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission, formerly serving as president of the Fujinkai (women’s association), and Ainako Kumiai. She also was also active in Hilo Oshibanaekai (pressed flower drawing club) at Wailoa Art Center and the Shishu (embroidery) Ladies of Hilo. Services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by daughters, Sharon (Eugene) Mannacio of Novato, Calif., and Mae (Cyrus) Kise of Hilo; sons, Ted Takemura of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Stanley Takemura of Hilo; sister, Frances Shimizu of Honolulu; brother, Minoru (Patsy) Takaesu of Honolulu; brother-in-law, Shiro Nakamoto of Hilo; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
